DAS-Polytechnic Empowers Students Through Impactful Pre-WASSCE Seminar

Prof. D. Ansu Sonii Polytechnic successfully hosted an impactful Pre-WASSCE Seminar on Thursday, May 14, 2026, bringing together students, educators, and academic professionals in an atmosphere defined by inspiration, purpose, and a shared commitment to academic excellence.

The seminar featured two highly experienced WAEC Co-Examiners who delivered insightful and engaging presentations focused on examination techniques, strategic preparation methods, and practical approaches to successfully navigating the upcoming WASSCE examinations. Their sessions equipped students with the confidence, discipline, and mindset necessary to approach the examinations with clarity and determination.

The event attracted more than 300 students from 18 schools across Districts 16 and 17. Faculty and staff members of the Polytechnic were fully present, reflecting the institution’s unwavering dedication to mentorship, academic advancement, and student success.

In his inspiring welcome address, the President of the Polytechnic, Prof. Dao Ansu Sonii, warmly received the students and provided an overview of the institution’s mission, vision, and enduring commitment to transforming lives through quality education. He emphasized the importance of discipline, purpose-driven learning, integrity, and leadership in shaping the future of young people and national development.

The Admission Officer, Vice President for Administration, and Vice President for Academics also addressed the gathering, providing valuable information on admission requirements, entrance registration procedures, credit-hour fee structures, and the diverse range of professional certificate and bachelor’s degree programs available at the institution. Their presentations offered students meaningful guidance toward future academic and professional opportunities.
