Public Health in the Liberian Context
Liberia has faced significant public health challenges — from infectious disease outbreaks to maternal and child health disparities, inadequate sanitation infrastructure, and limited access to healthcare in rural communities. The need for trained public health professionals who understand the local context, can implement evidence‑based interventions, and effectively coordinate with communities and health authorities has never been greater. DAS‑U's BSc. in Public Health is a direct response to this national need.
