## Executive Profile of Mrs. Adoley M. Sonii
Mrs. Adoley M. Sonii is a respected Liberian administrator, public health professional, education leader, and humanitarian whose career reflects decades of dedicated service in healthcare administration, public service, institutional management, and community development in Liberia. She is widely recognized for her leadership, professionalism, and commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable communities through education and health initiatives.
Mrs. Sonii currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of DAS Foundation Academy and is the Co-Founder of DAS Foundation Academy and DAS Polytechnic University alongside her husband, Professor Dao Ansu Sonii Sr.. She also serves as the Alternate Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of DAS Polytechnic University, where she contributes significantly to institutional administration and educational advancement.
Her professional journey began in the early 1980s as Personnel Manager at the former Mesurado Fishing Company in Monrovia, Liberia. Over the years, she held several senior administrative and managerial positions in both public and private institutions. At the Liberia Electricity Corporation, she served in the Internal Control Division and later as Commercial Manager, demonstrating exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
Mrs. Sonii later transitioned into the health sector, where she served as Administrator of the Seventh-Day Adventist Cooper Hospital in Sinkor, Monrovia. During her tenure, she also served as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Christian Health Association of Liberia (CHAL), helping strengthen healthcare coordination among Christian health institutions across Liberia.
Her dedication to public health and humanitarian service led to her appointment as Health Promotion Officer with the World Health Organization Liberia Office. She subsequently served as Country Director of Sightsavers International Liberia Office, where she spent eleven years leading impactful health and disability inclusion programs aimed at improving eye health and community wellbeing throughout Liberia.
Academically, Mrs. Sonii graduated from the Booker Washington Institute in Secretarial Science and Shorthand Manuscript in 1976 and later earned a Diploma in Secretarial Science from Woodbury University in 1978. She subsequently obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management and a Master of Science (MSc) in Regional Science from the University of Liberia. In further pursuit of excellence in public health, she earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Loma Linda University.
